Teachers who are confident with a topic produce students who are confident and passionate. This article states that teachers need to be trained in science education. This will ensure that students are receiving better science education. This will improve student attitudes toward science. In Turkey, teachers are being trained in science education and it has greatly improved student confidence and engagement.
