Module 6 Learning Summary

In this module, I learned how to make a good presentation. There are a lot of factors that can make or break a presentation. Making slides too wordy or trying to present too much information at once can clutter slides and distract from the main point of the presentation. Only introduce one point at a time as to really get your point across before moving to a new one. Make an outline and stick to it to allow viewers to easily follow the presentation. It is important for presentations to be aesthetically pleasing. Colors should contrast each other without being overly bright or distracting. Information should be presented in bullets instead of paragraph form in order to be easy to read. It was really interesting to see how you could use different fonts and graphics to make a presentation more engaging. There are so many presentation tools out there. We don't just have powerpoint anymore. There are so many great resources for engaging presentations.
